Welcome to SubOwl. By accessing or using our mobile application or website at subowl.app (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SubOwl is an AI-powered subscription tracking application operated by Inmubo. SubOwl helps you manage your recurring subscriptions, detect waste, and make informed decisions about your spending. The Service is available in free and Pro tiers.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- Each person may only maintain one account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
SubOwl offers a free tier and a Pro tier available via Apple In-App Purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of subscription data you enter into SubOwl.
- You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- You may not use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
SubOwl, the Wiso mascot, and all associated content, branding, and materials are the intellectual property of Inmubo. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent.
7. AI Features Disclaimer
SubOwl's waste scores and AI-generated recommendations are provided as suggestions only and do not constitute financial advice. AI analysis may contain inaccuracies or errors. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make regarding your subscriptions based on information provided by the Service.
8. Financial Disclaimer
SubOwl does not provide financial, investment, or professional advice of any kind. The information and analysis provided by the Service are for informational purposes only. Subscription cancellation decisions and any resulting financial outcomes are entirely your responsibility. You should consult a qualified financial professional for advice tailored to your situation.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Inmubo does not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated analysis. We are not liable for missed renewal dates, subscription cancellation outcomes, or any financial losses arising from the use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inmubo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Inmubo operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
